We worship God in a number of different ways and combine both traditional and modern forms of worship in our Sunday services. Being part of the Exeter Methodist Circuit or group of churches, our worship is enriched by visiting ministers and local (i.e. lay) preachers. We are blessed with a talented organist/musical director and committed choir who lead us in worship.
Our Minister
The Reverend Andrew Brazier joined the church in 2007 as a probational minister. He was ordained at Worcester Cathedral on July 5th 2009.
His family are an integral part of the church and his wife Ruth and son Ben accompany the choir on the piano and flute respectively.
Sunday Morning Service at 10:30
Once a month our morning service is interpreted for the deaf in our effort to be accessible for all. We also have a 'loop system', large print hymn books and access for wheelchairs.
Sometimes we use data projectors, at other times we are more traditional.
Sunday Evening Services at 18:30
These are held in the smaller more intimate Reed Hall. Sometimes they take the form of more contemplative worship, sometimes a form of alternative worship or fellowship service, which can involve more active participation.
Wednesday Mornings Drop-in 10 am-12noon
The Church is open as a drop-in centre on Wednesday mornings - the minister is usually there together with other members of the congregation. Drop-in for a cup of coffee, a friendly chat, a cheery smile or a listening ear.
Sharing and Nourishing
As a worshipping community we share our faith by celebrating the sacrament of Holy Communion, to which all (including children) are invited. We are actively involved with the ecumenical 'Churches Together in Central Exeter'
