Home > About Us and our Mission > Our-Worship

We worship God in a number of different ways and combine both traditional and modern forms in our Sunday service. Being part of a Methodist group of churches, our worship is enriched by visiting ministers and local (i.e. lay) preachers. We are blessed with a talented organist/musical director and committed choir who lead us in worship.

Our Minister - Rev Yangsun Yi.  has moved to Exeter from Birmingham to take up her first ministerial appointment. She will also be assisting the new Coast and Country Circuit Superintendent Rev Steve Santry at the Mint Methodist church.

Sunday Service at 10:30am see  our homepage for who is preaching each week, and our circuit page for the 27 Exeter Coast and Country churches plan of future dates.

On the 1st Sunday of each month our morning service is interpreted for the deaf as part of our effort to be accessible for all.  We also have a highly recommended 'loop system', large print hymn books and access for wheelchairs, plus a disabled toilet in the church foyer and another in the halls.

Sometimes we use data projectors to display words of hymns and images, at other times we are more traditional.

Sharing and Nourishing

As a worshipping community we share our faith by celebrating the sacrament of Holy Communion, usually on the 1st Sunday of the month, to which all (including children) are invited. We are also actively involved with the ecumenical CTaX - Christians Together across Exeter a member of Churches Together in Devon.
