Community Rainbow Garden

Our Community Rainbow Garden Club  is free
and is OPEN once a week during Feb to October on MONDAYS from 3pm.

We welcome practical help from anyone living in Exeter. All our produce is free to anyone who helps and wants it! Accompanied children are welcome. We grow raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants, blackberries, grapes and have espalier pear trees, a peach tree, rhubarb and gooseberry bushes. We also grow lettuce, carrots, radish, garlic, onions, leeks, sweetcorn, spring cabbage, carrots, spinach, peas, broad beans, runner beans, courgettes, parsley, basil, chard, pumpkins and whatever seeds you bring or suggest!

We look forward to seeing you soon, we are hidden behind Pizza Hut and KFC on Sidwell Street. We have space to play or sit and chat, with lots of opportunity to learn practical skills like digging, sowing, mowing, hoeing, planting, weeding, staking, harvesting, watering, pricking out, feeding, debugging, raking, covering, layering, pruning, tying, transplanting, composting, thinning and best of all tasting!

Above is a sample of last season's produce. Also the Walnut tree sapling we planted as part of the Queen's Green Canopy. It is next to the tumbling compost bin.
