Hall Bookings

Here at Sidwell Street we have a variety of venues for hire:

The Church itself can be booked for conferences, plays and concerts.  The acoustics are said to be 'the best in the West' (Come to our Last Night of the Proms in the Autumn to see what I mean!)  Over 500 can be seated on two levels.  We recently played host to a play by Riding Lights.

We Also have two halls and a small meeting room which are available:

Our largest 'School Hall' can accommodate meetings of up to 90 people and has a badminton court marked out.  Approximate size : 19 x 14 mtrs.

We have a great variety of groups using the School Hall from Circle Dancing,
Tai Chi, Age Concern, a Badminton Club, and many more.

The smaller 'Reed Hall' will seat 40-45 people

Current users include Natural History, the Welsh Society and Family History Groups.

Our small 'Primary Room'  is suitable for meetings of up to 15 people.

Catering : All the rooms have direct access to our kitchen which is currently being refitted, and will be available at the end of August for making tea, coffee and cooking light meals.

Audio/Visual : We have audio/visual, sound equipment and staging that can be erected if required.

Disabled Access, etc. : There are ramps for wheelchair access and toilets for the disabled in the Hall complex.  A loop system is installed for those with hearing difficulties.
